2月の「コーヒーを飲みながら聖書を読もう」では、アニメ映画「プリンス・オブ・エジプト」の主人公としても有名なモーセの人生に注目します。
第4回目の今回のタイトルは「十戒」です。
ユダヤ人たちをエジプトから脱出させた後、彼らがこれを守り行うようにと、神さまがモーセを通して与えられた十の戒めが「十戒」です。
その前半部分は、神さまと人間の関係について、後半部分は人間同士の関係について定められています。その戒めはユダヤ人だけでなく、全人類に語りかけられています。
なぜこのような戒めを、神さまは人間に与えられたのでしょうか?ご一緒に考えてみませんか?

February's "Let's Read the Bible with a cup of coffee" focuses on the life of Moses, the famous protagonist of the animated film "The Prince of Egypt".
The title of this 4th session is "The Ten Commandments".
"The Ten Commandments" are given by God through Moses to the Jews after He led them out of Egypt, which they were to keep and perform.
The first half of the commandments refers to God's relationship with mankind, and the second half to man's relationship with each other. The commandments speak not only to the Jewish people, but to all mankind.
Why did God give these commandments to mankind? Why don't you come and think about it with us?
