1月の「コーヒーを飲みながら聖書を読もう」では、創世記(聖書中の最初の書物)に登場する4人の重要人物の人生に注目して読んでいきます。神がいかに、それぞれの人生に深く関わられたのかが分かる筈です。
第2回目の今回は「約束」と題して、アブラハムの息子、イサクの人生に注目します。
神の約束によって生まれたイサクは、父や息子と比べるとその記述は驚くほど少ないです。しかし、神の約束に留まって生きる人の幸いを見事に示しています。
イサクを通して示されている「幸い」について、ご一緒に学んでみませんか?

In January's "Read the Bible with a cup of coffee" we will focus on the lives of four important people in the book of Genesis (the first book in the Bible). You will see how God was deeply involved in each of their lives.
In this second installment, entitled "The Promise", we will focus on the life of Abraham's son, Isaac.
Isaac, born of God's promise, has surprisingly little written about him compared to his father and son. However, it beautifully illustrates the blessedness of those who abide in God's promises.
