12月の「コーヒーを飲みながら聖書を読もう」では、聖書に記されている世界で最初のクリスマスの出来事を4回に分けて読んでいきます。第3回目の今回は「クリスマスの喜び」です。イエス・キリストがお生まれになった時、最初にその知らせを天使から聞いたのは、夜もすがら寝ずに羊の番をしていた羊飼いたちでした。天使は彼らに告げます。「民全体に与えられる大きな喜びを告げる」と。この「民全体」の中には、私たち一人一人も含まれています。

In December's "Read the Bible with a cup of coffee", we will read about the world's first Christmas events as recorded in the Bible in four parts. In this 3rd installment, we will look at "The joy of Christmas". When Jesus Christ was born, the first to hear the news from the angel were the shepherds who stayed up all night guarding the sheep. The angel tells them. "I announce to you the great joy that will be given to the whole people". This "whole people" includes each and every one of us.
